There is a hairline fissure where the handle connection is that is a result of cooling after kiln firing and is not damage nor effect the structural integrity. Pictures are provided.

This lovely zhongguo zhi zao tea/coffee mug was made for the western trade sometime in the late 20 century around the 70s or 80s.
It is in great condition and would make a great gift, add a few treats for an extra touch!
