Vintage uniden washington Base Station cb radio

uniden washington Base Station cb radio, 4 pin. I plugged it up and tested the best I could , I Don’t know much about cb’s, unit comes on, I could hear people talking, I tested with a mic and antenna, I i think I was to far away for anybody to give me a mic check, got no response, but o believe it to be working. The volume makes a squealing noise when turn all the way up, not sure if it suppose to do that or not, unit is clean, has normal wear and scratches paint loss on plastic nothing bad, nothing appears broken. No mic or antenna comes with it , just the base station is all you get. AS IS
