    Description

    This vintage brass box is a reproduction of a box that's held in the Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum in Winterthur, De. It was made by Mottahedeh and Company who was licensed by the museum to reproduce objects from their collections. The cover of the box, with a radiant sun and two Freemasonry/Masonic caliper & square symbols is marked: T. Gillot Briftol (Bristol) 1790. The underside of the box is marked: WM REPRODUCTION.
    2" wide x 5 1/8" long x 1" tall.
    Good condition with a good deal of patina.
