Huge vintage lot of over 120 newspaper clippings, ads, shopping flyers, note cards with handwritten and handtyped receipes; old office ledgers; articles about "housewives" and "war time" matters.  Articles on how to make your own cough syrup at home, etc.  Tons and tons of stuff from late 1930's to 1960's, including a cookbook with handwritten notes in it.  It is the perfect edition  to anyone's junk journal, ephemera library.  Please review photos and email if you have any questions prior to buying.
This listing is for a lot of vintage ephemera, and includes the following:
An office routing envelope from Douglas Aircraft Company.
Newspaper pages from the Austin Daily Herald from April 14, 1947, advertising weddings, help wanted, IRS ads, upcoming events, personal ads, outling life in Austin, MN in the 1940's (has ads for beauty services and coupons).
A certificate from the "American Photographic Society" of Pasadena, California from 1951 with a three cent stamp on an addressed envelope that is stamped sent from Pasadena.
Many clipped recipes from newspapers including " Daily for Favorite Recipe," and "War Time Cooking Tips" and "Make your own cough syrup at home."

Watkins Cook Book Hardbound published 1936 - by JR Watkins Co. in Wynona, Minn.  This book is very used and very vintage.  The spine is coming apart and some of the pages are falling out, but it would make an amazing addition to anyone's ephemera collection.
Please be advised that these items are very old.  They are dirty, dusty, have bent corners and are ripped in places.  Most newspaper clippings have usable material on both sides of the clipping.  These are perfect for junk journals and scrapbooks, or anyone who just loves historical life in the 1940's - 1960's and wants a little taste of what was popular during these decades.
These items are all folded, as they were in storage this way and will be sent in a medium priorty mail flat rate box to you.

We accept PayPal or cash at local pick up. If we do not receive payment within 3 days, we will assume you are forfeiting the auction and the item will no longer be available to buyer.
Please be advised that PayPal requires that we ship to the address we receive with the payment. We cannot make any change. Please make sure to choose the correct address before completing the payment.
International Buyers: We reserve the right to accept or decline international PayPal and credit cards. Purchase price for the item does not include customs fees or taxes and are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping Terms:
*All freight shipments will be noted in the description as "freight shipment." If your PayPal confirmed shipping address is not a commercial address with loading dock then your item will be shipped to your local freight terminal where it will be held for you to pick it up. Sometimes we are able to ship items to residential address for an additional fee.
*We reserve the right to switch carriers from freight shipping to FedEx, UPS, or another carrier.  We will message you to let you know the shipping carrier has changed and we will provide a tracking number that will be uploaded to eBay.
*Please note that calculated shipping is based on the delivery services listed. However, we reserve the right to ship for the same cost via FedEx or another carrier. We prefer to ship by FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
*Buyer agrees to pay for shipping and packaging fees listed in the eBay ad. International buyers please pay for shipping charges to your country. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
*Packages may be subject to signature upon delivery (in accordance with PayPal or other requirements). Please make arrangements accordingly. We may require signature upon delivery in some circumstances.
*The carrier will make attempts to deliver and will send the package back to us if delivery is unsuccessful. Buyer is responsible for charges for all returned and re-shipped packages.
*We cannot re-route a shipment after it has left our site. Please make sure that appropriate arrangements are made for delivery.
*In case of returns buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. (Domestic or International)

We are not responsible for any damage caused by shipping or freight carriers. It will leave our location in good condition. Filing of damage claims with the freight carrier or other carrier is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please inspect your items upon receipt. Any damages must be documented with the freight carrier before they depart your location. We insure all packages and will provide proof of insurance if needed to file a claim. Photographs are taken when they are wrapped prior to shipping.
*We cannot warranty equipment. Warranties are only available from the manufacturer on new equipment for a limited time. If you prefer a warranty, we suggest you pay the higher cost for new equipment. We test every piece we are capable of, prior to sending it out. We have tested this item and show it working in our pictures, but please be aware we are selling this item ‘AS IS’ and make no claims to the functionality of the item once it leaves our facility. We sell our equipment at a deep discount from the new price and want you to consider it as NOT WORKING regardless of the pictures so you understand that if you need a part like a thermostat, a screw, or something similar... we do not account for this.
If the item is free shipping it is included in the continental US.  For Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico there will be an extra surcharge.

Packaging:
All items are packaged to the shipping guidelines per carrier. Freight shipments are strapped to a pallet and cellophane wrapped. It may or may not have a frame around it and/or crate.
We may use recycled boxes and shipping materials occasionally; this is part of our environmental policy.

Returns:
When accepted, returns must be approved prior to items being shipped back. Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Buyer pays shipping (original and return charges). Item must be returned in the same condition it was sold in (example “New,” “Unopened,” “Sealed,” “Working,” etc.). All components and accessories included in original listing must be returned. Tracking information must be provided for return shipment. Insurance is required for return shipments. We will not be held responsible for damage during return shipment. Extra charges may apply to any returns that do not comply with these terms.
On refrigeration equipment, because the solder holding lines together becomes brittle over time, vibrations during shipping could cause it to crack and lead to a refrigeration leak. Occasionally an item we listed as “cooling” may no longer cool after shipping. Your cost to repair and recharge the system should be minimal. We do not cover this or accept returns because of this. Please understand we do not send an item that is not working unless specifically stated as such, so any refrigerated item that is not cooling once received probably needs to be checked out on your end. Again, we sell our equipment at a deep discount compared to the cost of new equipment. We cannot then be expected to make a repair as well. This is why we make sure it works properly before sending it to you the customer. Our reputation is very important to us and we work very hard at listing only our best equipment for sale, stating it accurately and honestly in the listing. If your item includes free shipping and a return is accepted, the shipping fees will be deducted from your refund. In some cases, we do accept returns we do accept returns, but not for a claim of “Item doesn’t match the description” since we claim nothing towards the functionality.
