Through my shared love of collecting and selling every item is scrutinized for market interest and buyer (me) interest. I do collect for myself in several categories based on my personal interests and affiliations. But I am always on the lookout for unusual and sought after items. Especially in the area of PAPER.
I have tons of gift wrap, greeting cards, post cards, photographs, postcards, magazines, maps, bill heads, stamps, - vintage office including paper supplies, desk and writing supplies.
I do have a love of vintage children’s books. And unless it is a very rare specimen, I will collect images from the book and use end pages, front and back covers for all sorts of projects. Always originals - no copies.
Christmas & Halloween account for a large % of my collection, both for their market interest and varieties available.
Without sounding boastful, I have over the years been contacted by “prop masters” requesting specific items for the films/shows that they are purveying for. Something unusual my 14 year old son gets to share with classmates.
