Vintage Chinese Tea Cup Mug Porcelain Hand Painted River Mountain Scene

Description

Beautiful, old, hand painted porcelain cup or mug has a colorful scene of a man rowing his boat down a river. The scene if filled with many tiny treasures to be found - a home or temple on the hill, farm houses, and other details in the scenery.  Lovely vegetation is at the front and scenic mountains in the background. There are three yellow items with red dots above them to the far left of the scene - appearing like sails or banners in the air - I have no idea what they are. (If you do, please share!)  The opposite side of the mug has Chinese writing which I cannot translate. An intricate border embraces the top of the cup as well as a single line at the bottom. The rim and handled have gold gilt on them. There is some wear to the gold rim at the mouth of the cup.  Please see close up photos and be sure you are good with condition prior to purchase.  The bottom of the cup is marked Hand Painted, Made In China in red lettering. Cup measures about 3 3/4 inches tall, and is 3 1/4 inches in diameter at mouth. It weighs 11.7 ounces. The interior is clean and shiny with no marks or stains.
