    Vintage Chinese Longquan Celadon (Greenware) Tea cup Embossed Gold Fish with Lid
    Beautiful tea cup with lid to keep your tea (or coffee) warm.
    It's in a lovely shade of light jade green with a Longquan celadon green-glazed finish over ceramic.
    The cup is embossed with gold fish. The goldfish symbolizes surplus and wealth in Chinese culture. I don't have wealth but I'm selling due to surplus so maybe it was accurate for me. May it symbolize wealth in it's new home.
    I purchased in 1996 in Chinatown, San Francisco. I used it briefly and it's been packed away for over 20 years. It's time for it to be enjoyed or displayed by someone who has space for it.
