Vintage Brass Ashtray and Candy Dish-Made in India

Vintage brass ashtray and candy dish.
Made in India.
Condition is used. No dents.  Estate items from grandma's house.

Bowl is 5 3/4" X 4" X 1 1/2".  Lovely floral design inside.  Marked Made in India on back.
Astray is 5" in diameter; 2 1/8" high; bowl is 1 1/8" deep.  Holds 3 burning cigarettes. Floral design along edge. The ashtray is less "gold" color than the bowl.  Marked E*A*C INDIA 316 on bottom.
I am assuming these are both brass, but I can't swear to it.
