    Billon etradrachm (25mm, 11.59 g).  Struck 251 AD.
    Seleucis and Pieria, Antioch mint.

    bverse: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left (
    typically right facing
    ) seen from three quarters frontally, the
    pteryges-
    -the protective leather epaulets--visible on both shoulders~reinforcing his military image.
    Reverse: ΔHMAΡX EΞOΥCIAC,  Eagle standing left, head turned right, holding wreath in beak; Z between legs.
    Very Rare! Only 4 listed in Prieur database. Ref. Prieur 654.
