The mount and cable assembly enable the RTS-27L to be installed without pulling the headliner on your vehicle. This not only speeds installation but helps prevent problems often encountered after removing the headliner. The Hustler RTS27L is designed to be roof top mounted, however it will install easily on any flat surface that can accommodate a .75 inch mounting hole.
The Antenna is a center loaded stainless whip with stainless steel spring base that protects the antenna form unintended impacts with low hanging obstructions. The slim line base provides a sleek finished look to the antenna installation. The Hustler RTS27L has a generous12 feet of high quality coax cable that terminates with a PL-259 connector for ease of radio to CB antenna attachment. Each mobile antenna made by hustler includes RG-58U coax manufactured to mil-specs to minimize noise.
