    Description

    Hello and welcome
This is a scarce AE coin from the Roman province of Mysia, Attaea. Minted under Septimius Severus (193-211 AD). A good coin in fairly good condition as shown, good details on the portrait and a good readable legend. The reverse feature Asklepios leaning on a serpent-entwined staff. It is 18 mm in diameter and weighs about 3,12 gram. A good coin indeed. Reference: BMC 11 (variant) / von Fritze 402.
