Description
Hello and welcomeThis is a silver didrachm from the Roman province Cappadocia, Caesaraea. Minted under Antoninus Pius (138-161 AD). A good coin in rather great condition as shown. It is well struck with good details and a good amount of readable legend, but does have some surface issues as shown. It feature a portrait of Antoninus Pius on one side, and Mt Argaeus surmounted by Helios on the other. It is 20 mm in diameter and weighs about 6,15 gram. Reference: Metcalf 123 / Syd 301.
