    The obverse Christopher Columbus at center surrounded by a representation of the Atlantic Ocean with images of the ships Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. The reverse is a declaration commemorating the 400th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of America from the Committee of 100 Citizens of New York. The artist is Charles Frederick Naegle. Produced by Gorham Manufacturing Co. Obv. Small roundel bust between three ships. Rev. U.S. and Spanish shields.
