Description

This is the
Rare 1851 London Exhibition Presentation Medal Set Ensign Soady.
This item is sold as used condition. In my opinion, it is in very good
condition for its age.   The item has wear/dirt on them, see pics.  The red leather presentation case has
a lot of wear, see pics. The back is more bright red in color compared to front. There is brass bound fittings on edge. The top of lid is warped, does not make a complete seal to close. You can see small gap, when lid is closed. The black medal holding area has wear, and there is a couple blue pieces to pull medal out, see pic. The medals look to be in great condition. Each medal is engraved Ensign Soady H. E. I. C. E. on side. The medal numbers from Eimer Medal Book are 1455, 1456, 1457, 1458, and 1459. This is a very rare 1 of 1 set presented to Ensign Soady from the  1851 London exhibition. It is a 5 medal set for this engineer.  Please use the pictures to judge the condition and bid on this item yourself.
