President Dwight D CB Base Station with external speaker and D-104 Mic.
Please read the entire listing. This Is a very clean vintage 40 channel CB base station made under the President brand before the Uniden takeover. A switch has been added to the back that I think adds extra channels. See photos that my frequency counter showed that channel 1 is right on frequency and the unit is transmitting (Frequency counter is NOT included in this sale). This sale does include a Astatic d-104 amplified 4-pin microphone in good working condition (Requires 9v battery NOT included). The Dwight D model does not have a built in speaker but an add on generic speaker that plugs into the back is included. The case and face plate is in good condition with no sign of rust or corrosion. There are some very minor scratches showing from what appears to be light use. The built in meters and lights, including the “ON AIR” light, all appear to work properly. The clock does NOT appear to work. I have no way to test this unit except into a dummy load. It does appear to transmit as designed when hooked up to a frequency counter. The A/C power cord is included but a D/C power cord is NOT included. The meter/counter in the photos is NOT included.
The unit will be shipped well protected with padding. However, because this is a vintage radio with delicate electronic parts and because of parts swappers, there is no guarantee it will operate after shipping and is being sold “As-is” for parts only.
