    Description

There is nothing worse than having a great TV to watch your favorite programs or sporting events, while having a grainy or pixilated (digital cable) picture. PCT amplifiers give your TV signal a boost while maintaining full compatibility with all of your cable services.
Power supply and coaxial cable (color may vary) included.
Provides 4 amplified output ports plus a modem bypass port. The modem bypass port is not required to be used, so the amplifier can be used for standard OTA antenna connections also.
Increases signal by +5dB on each port - approximately 3x boost! Each port on the amplifier will be boosted by 3dB above the signal on the input. This allows you to connect longer cable runs and keep the signal strong.
Will reduce cable pixilation and graininess due to low signal levels. Typical low signal problems cause audio dropouts and pixilation. Boosting the signal before splitting (as this product does) often fixes signal issues.
6 kV surge protection for lightning strikes. Gold-plated, beryllium copper construction, and powder coated housing deters corrosion. Can be mounted flat or at a 90 degree angle with built-in dual mounts. Coaxial cables are not included.
Note: This amplifier is compatible with HD signals, but you need to be careful when amplifying an HD antenna signal. This product is designed to boost a signal for distribution purposes but may provide mixed results if the incoming signal is not strong enough. The amplifier cannot take a weak antenna signal and make it perfect. The amplifier will boost the antenna signal, but it will also boost anything else that hits the antenna. This means that other unwanted signals received by the antenna which normally won?t cause any issue could cause problems after boosting. It is possible that installing the amplifier could prevent reception of HD signals - because the booster may boost the noise (unwanted signals) to a point where they seriously interfere with reception.
This product is NOT recommended for use with amplified antennas. Using an amplified antenna with a secondary PCT amplifier may not improve your reception. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED FOR SATELLITE TV. CONNECTING TO SATELLITE DISH WILL BLOCK THE SIGNAL and potentially damage the amplifier.
