Up for auction is a pair of Realistic / Radio Shack (Tandy Corp.) 40-Channel 400mW Citizens Band (CB) Transceivers (Model Nbr. TRC-415; Cat. Nbr. 21-1509) with microphones, and two Realistic / Radio Shack (Tandy Corp.) Mobile Magnetic Mount CB Antennas (Cat. Nbr. 21-992). These transceivers are like new.  They have been owned by me exclusively.  They are in the original box and packaging and have been kept in a smoke-free home in a humidity-controlled climate. They are very simple to operate and can be used right out of the box!
The TRC-415 is a compact 2-way 40-channnel CB radio designed for Class D CB Mobile operation. Compact in size, it is big on performance.  It is a quality piece of electronic equipment and well-constructed.  The circuitry is all solid-state, mounted on ruggedized printed circuit boards.
The TRC-415 has a built-in 40-channel Phase Lock Loop (PLL) synthesizer circuit. The PLL technology that was incorporated into the design (state-of-the-art in its time) generates all the required frequencies using a single crystal. The result is much higher frequency control and superior reliability.
