The Asymmetrical Hi-Fi AM Modulator allows for amplitudes in excess of 300%
modulation while not exceeding the negative peaks at -100%.
The Asymmetrical Hi-Fi AM Modulator
is compatible with
most transceivers and it is fully adjustable via the onboard controls. This unit will work with all
High Level Modulation transceivers by direct coupling to the driver and final’s collectors via the
existing transceiver's onboard RF chokes.
The Asymmetrical Hi-Fi AM Modulator
produces modulation levels well above the norm and broadcast
levels without distortion, allowing for your station to sound loud and clean.
The Asymmetrical Hi-Fi AM Modulator
connected to your audio processing chain and a transceiver of your choice you will sound just
as or better than commercial broadcast stations.

Audio gain control allowing for proper drive from the line level input.
The Level control allows for final audio control and is set in combination with the
Carrier and Asymmetry controls to achieve the level on modulation desired.
Carrier controls sets the reference carrier level (deadkey) to set the asymmetry.
The Asymmetry control maintains the negative peaks at -100% modulation while
allowing for positive peaks of excess of 300% without pinching or clipping.
Onboard +/- 15 volt rectifiers and filter capacitors for use with an external AC, 25
volt, 500mA, center tapped transformer.
Adjustable phase control for using cascading amplifier stages.
Power status LEDs for the +24V, +15V and -15V supplies.
Convenient mount holes and solder pad terminals.
