Description

NORTHSTAR 6000i chartplotter, MFD
Serial number 6K103008. This is a working take out from a 31 Jupiter. We removed the entire system to include two chartplotters, radome, sonar module, radar module, and cables. Unit powers up and interfaces with VHF, radar, and sounder. I have not used it afloat so can only attest that it does power up and displays radar, VHF, sonar, and charts when they are inserted via compact disc. Includes power cord, sun cover, and three mounting studs. One is missing. No internal charts or chart card. Other cords and components available. This unit is the one on the starboard side in the photos.
I also have listed a Northstar 24" radome RB715A, Northstar 24” radar sensor MDS-2, Northstar 491 Echo sounder module, and various networking cables.
INTERNATIONAL SALES AND SHIPPING THROUGH EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM ONLY
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING UNDER CURRENT CONDITIONS
Some international buyers may experience difficulty in receiving items under current trade conditions. I recently shipped an item to a customer in Spain through Ebay Global Shipping Program. The package cleared EU Customs and the shipping company made three delivery attempts. However, according to the buyer Spain is/was requiring shipping companies to call before making a delivery. The customer supplied me with a phone number but I had no way to get it to the shipper. Since Ebay hired the shipper, I do not even know who it is so I have no one to contact. This customer was shipping care of (c/o) another person which complicated matters further. As of this moment we have no idea where the item is and it may have been discarded by the shipper.
If you are an international buyer please be aware of problems in the international commerce system at this time. When your item leaves the US I have no influence or control on it. I will make no refunds or adjustments for items damaged or missing after they are shipped. That is between you and the shipping company. And please provide ebay with a valid address.
Insurance Note:
Fed Ex recently destroyed a livewell pump in transit. I double boxed it and wrapped it well but they still broke it. No complaints from me because this is the first time in 20 years Fed Ex has damaged a shipment and they reimbursed for shipping and cost of pump. The buyer and I shared pics and notes with Fed Ex and things went well for both of us. That is a very good record. However, things do get damaged in transit so I strongly recommend you insure your purchase. If an item is damaged in transit that is between you and Fed Ex or USPS. I package things very well, as shown by only one damaged item in 20 years, but they do occasionally break things. If you do not insure your shipment be prepared to deal with Fed Ex or USPS if it arrives damaged.
