Nice Clean Restored Lafayette Comstat 25A with Lafayette mic from my vast collection vintage tube radios. This radio has 23 factory channels
installed.
Radio transmits and receives on all 23 channels. Receiver sensitivity is to spec and transmitter output is about 3.5 watts dead-key with nice forward swing to 12 plus watts PEP and good crisp audio. All crystals are within spec for transmit and receive function. All electrolytic and film capacitors have been replaced along with several parts to restore operation.
Weak or shorted tubes have also been replaced. Has minor scuffs and scratches due to aging and wear since 1968.
Includes as shown radio, Lafayette microphone, and original power cord. I made a few DX contacts running barefoot on channel 11 with good reports! Good operational tube unit to work stations using a nostalgic radio from the past! This unit is sold for parts not working due to age and delicate vintage electronics from 1968. No returns, refunds, no exceptions due to people who swap parts and try to scam the seller. Please look at all pictures closely for condition.
