NICE 1940 Illustrated Letterhead. Frick Company, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The letter is a personal letter from the Hagerstown, Maryland company representative to his daughter and son-in-law, who are probably newlyweds. The father is concerned with the couple purchasing furniture in Washington, D.C. and thinks they need to look around more before making the purchase. -- "don't pay the cash before you get the goods that is poor business, if they don't want to do this just tell them you will look around first". There is also a handwritten note included from the mother that basically says listen to your father. The letter was sent Special Delivery. Envelope is VG condition with some light creases, light soiling. The letterhead itself is EX condition. I use a poor/fair/good/very good/excellent/mint grading system and grade very conservatively (see my feedback). This does NOT necessarily correspond to the generic Ebay grading system that we must use. Shipping is .50 in the U.S.
