Paul-Marie Maxime Laignel-Lavastine, born in Évreux on September 12, 1875, of a family from Elbeuf, and died in Paris on September 5, 1953, is a French psychiatrist.
Maxime comes from a family where several were doctors: his maternal grandfather, Louis Bidault, received 7th at the boarding school in Paris, in 1842, or his great-great-uncle, Jacques Daviel, inventor of the operation.
