.May 1940 Vintage Look Magazine The Story Behind Native Son Harlem Black History.Original Look magazine from May 21, 1940. Magazine measures 10-1/2" x 13", 66 pages. The feature article is "The Story Behind Native Son, most discussed novel of Negro life since Uncle Tom's Cabin". The photo on the cover is of Anne Scott, New York Model.
Condition: Cover shows wear, has address label and pencil and eraser marks. Pages are intact. However, I do note some folded corners and a few pages have pencil scribbles. (These marks do not affect the Native Son article.)
