Lot Of 300 Love Letters From WWII, Stamps Envelopes, Letters, Miscellaneous
It’s very hard for me to describe this priceless collection. It appears that two people in love wrote 100’s of letters to each other during World War II.
For example- (here is a random letter I grabbed to emphasize what you can expect in this lot…)
Letter dated June 25, 1945 …France
“Dearest Bobbie;
Well here I am back in France again. The conditions are much different however, as no one has shot at me all day. We left Germany the Fourteenth of June, passed through Holland and Belgium, and am now just waiting for a boat to bring me home.
As things look now, I will be home before the tenth of July so try to be there before that time. I will go to Fort Sheridan from New York, and take a furlough from there. You will probably hear about our division landing, and two days after that I will be in Kalamazoo!
You probably know that my mom has been sick, but the letter I received today said she was home from the hospital, and doing fine.
Yes Angel it will be wonderful to hold you in my arms again. It has been almost twenty long months since we had to leave each other in Tennessee. I do hope you won’t have any trouble on your trip home, as I know it is quite a ride.
Just be very careful and soon again we will be where we belong. This is the last mail from Europe so until I’m with you please remember you will always be my one and only, I love you with all my heart.

There are probably two hundred postmarked envelopes ( most are just the front half of the envelope ) and at least 30 letters ( not sure I will be counting pieces as I get responses to this listing )
