July Willabee & Ward Betty Boop Calendar Series Trinket Box

Description

This auction features a wonderful collectible hinged trinket box from Willabee & Ward.  "July" features Betty Boop, as the Statue of Liberty, with Pudgy.
The porcelain box which also has little crystals imbedded in various spots
and there is a little painted metal dog that is hidden inside. I haven't been able to find much on this calendar series, but the characters are based on the Betty Boop characters licensed by Hearst Entertainment and King Features Syndicate.  It measures about 3" tall and 2" wide. It is in great condition with some areas of missing paint on the dog charm a
nd the clasp does not "snap" shut.
