Description
Jensen JT-11P-1 Premium Line Input Transformer 1:1This transformer is designed for use in wideband line input stages. Distortion remains very low and CMRR remains high, even when driven by high source impedances. The primary is fully balanced and its leads may be reversed to invert polarity, if required. A 30 dB magnetic shield package is standard.
Ideal for balancing any high-impedance unbalanced input
Wide bandwidth: -3 dB at 0.25 Hz and 95 kHz
Recommended for levels up to +20 dBu at 20 Hz
High input impedance: 13 kΩ with 10 kΩ load
High common-mode rejection: 107 dB at 60 Hz
With its Faraday-shielded input transformer, the Jensen Transformers JT-11P-1 can eliminate hum and buzz in line-level signals. Ultra-low DLP (deviation from linear phase) and time-domain distortion are the result of Bessel-tailored high-frequency and extended low-frequency responses. The internal Faraday shielding ensures unmatched immunity to hum, buzz, and RF interference (high CMRR). 10k:10k impedance ratio.
Whereas transformerless inputs suffer “breakthrough” noise in electrically-hostile environments, inputs using these transformers are unaffected. Ultra-sonic “hard digital edge” artifacts are removed from signals by the controlled high-frequency response of the transformers, resulting in a unmatched sonic clarity. The JT-11P-1 is enclosed in a MuMETAL® magnetic shielding can to further reduce hum caused by nearby magnetic fields.
Several turns ratios are offered to optimize noise performance with various input stage designs. Extremely high dynamic range can be delivered, up to 140 dB, in real-world system environments. The JT-11P-1 is made in the USA.
