Comments:
This coin is part of a listing that added 14 (mostly small) ancient bronzes to my eBay inventory. I found these coins tucked away in my desk. I must apologize for most of the photos used in these 14 listings. In support of these 14 new listings I have taken numerous photos of each coin only to end up throwing up my hands and using photos that do not show how good most of these coins actually look. I take my photos next to a window (natural light) but this appears to cause as many problems as it solves with respect to reproducing the items actual color. The photos of many of these 14 bronze coins show a green or turquois color/hue (both colors are associated with copper) however these colors are much more apparent in the photos than when the coin is viewed with the naked eye. I attribute this to the nature digital camera.
Also some of these photos show numerous tiny spots. They are not visible to the naked eye but are under magnification. They appear to be the result of having been buried and are specks of soil adhering to the surface or small amounts of mineral buildup. Due to the small size of these coins it is necessary to use the camera’s “Macro” setting to get a good detailed photo of the coin but this setting also blows up the size of these small specks.
