    This is a lovely bronze medal of a hunting dog, probably a Pointer, signed by V. Peter (1840-1914) .   It weighs about 27.7 grams and is about 50mm by 30mm.   (F4739)
    V. Peter produced a number of medals depicting animals.  These are extremely attractive and highly valued, particularly those of dogs.
