    Fantastic historical Mount Everest Mint First Anniversary Brass Medal, dated 1974. The Medal is about 27 mm across, and weighs about 10.6 g.
    The Mount Everest Mint (located at 141 Terwood Road, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania) was founded in 1973 by Howard E. Katz, David B. Tolins and Burton Wigod. The company was a private mint with its own sculpting, engraving, die making and coining facilities.
    Mount Everest Mint was known for creating artistic, highly detailed, and very collectible art bars in the early 1970’s.
    The Edge lettering reads: SOLID BRASS.
