Description

You are bidding on a Dominion Atlantic Railway brochure promoting summer travel to Nova Scotia. The focus here is on summer homes available to the tourist, and the 23 pages of this brochure provide a detailed list of over one hundred of the most attractive vacation resorts in this land of summer enchantments.
These are, for the most part, scattered along the route followed by the DAR between Yarmouth and Halifax.
This includes practically every type of vacation headquarters in Nova Scotia . . . seaside and country town, farmhouse, fishing hamlet, camp, and cottage colony.
A list of the inns and boarding houses in each place, along with accommodations, rates, and other useful information is also given.
A list of hotels in towns is also provided.
The listings (city, town, etc.) are presented alphabetically by location with any
nearby attractions noted.
Black & white photos illustrate the information.
I don’t see a printing date, but the brochure appears to date to the early 1920’s.
The brochure shows light soil and wear but is otherwise in excellent condition.
Buyer pays .50 shipping in the U.S. (.75 to Canada) . . . and check out my other eBay railroad auction items.
Thanks for looking!
Praise God!
