Description
Saved and rescued patterns from the original pages of issues of WORKBASKET magazine. These appeared during the year of 1950. There were 12 printed, and 6 of those twelve are available here:
LITTLE MISS JANUARY; FEBRUARY FAIR MAID; ST. PATS' COLLEEN; AN APRIL MISS; A JUNE BRIDE; MISS LIBERTY.
Info from the January issue:
In the next twelve issues, we plan to give you each month a doll design on the order of LITTLE MISS JANUARY, each in different dress and pose. They can be appliqued, embroidered, stenciled or hand painted on white or pastel blocks from nine to twelve inches or more; twelve or eighteen such blocks can be altered with plain blocks to make a quilt of desired size.
For hand painting, trace this doll on material and brush away with your textile paints. Suggested color schemes are also included in each description.
I'll place each of these patterns and instructions in a plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for protection while mailing by USPS First Class in a bubble envelope.
I'll mail the same day, or next day after payment is received.
