    Description

Diocletian, Colonial Roman, Billon tetradrachm, Egypt, Alexandria, 284-305 A.D., Curtis 1969, Milne 4846. The obverse shows the bust of Diocletian, facing right, laureate and cuirassed.
The reverse shows an eagle standing left, with a wreath in its beak. The obverse legend, since I do not have a triangle to make a "delta" on my keyboard, is as best I can show, "Delta"IOKAHTI ANOCCEB. The reverse legend is ETOVC _ . Nice detail and surfaces.
This is a genuine original coin, not a copy, replica or reproduction.
