Delta comes in 3 fiberglass tubes, the bottom one has about 1 foot of exterior metal.
Special coil and heavier #12 copper wire (others are #14 or 16) inside gives <1.5:1 vswr over 2-mHz bandwidth WITHOUT using tuning rings!
You won't find this in other Big Sticks

Nice full-circle clamps mount this to flat surface or to a pipe (clamps for both included) see pic. Note: the bottom mounting collars  come through with minor scratches.
1 - 2+ KW pep power handling capacity
Heavier radiator inside compared to Antron #14, even ProComm's #14.  (NEC rated carrying capacity 5,000 watts.)
With even a simple, or built-in tuner, you can use the 10-meter band AND the 11-meter band WITHOUT adjusting the ring at the antenna bottom.

Hello Up there..
Just received the antenna today and I wish to thank you for the great shipping, and for offering the option of sending it to Puerto Rico. I'm upgrading from a Tram 1499,.. where I live (on the island west coast) I'm surrounded by hills and the Delta 2000 certainly will 'shoot' that signal out.
