  • Condition: Good condition vintage high-power CB Side Band radio for 10 and 11 meters. Some scratches on the front top of the plastic front cover. See pictures. Scratches are from install and removal from my vehicles. I use this radio for mobile and a base station. Radio is in great condition overall. One of the 4 mounting knobs plastic knob broke, but the mount still works. It is replaceable, if needed. Works for me as is.

    Description

    Euro 3900 AM/FM/SSB 10 & 11 Meter Radio
    The Euro 3900 is an export version of the highly respected Super Star 3900 sold in Europe. Same electronics, just a different name. I have owned this radio since it was new. It has been well cared for. No high SWR transmissions, ever.
    One of the few CB radios that can be modified to produce higher power on AM and SSB. This radio is modified for 12 Watts on AM and 25 Watts on SSB. TX output is higher. I hold a Ham radio license/call sign so I am legal with the power except for AM, which can be lowered using the included mod instructions. I don't use AM, I use SSB for international DX/CQ work.
    The included documents (user manual & mod instructions) are all that is needed to manage and enjoy this radio!

    This is POSITIVE GROUND RADIO! Read the instructions BEFORE you hook it up to power! Be sure the fuse is in before you turn it on! People have a tendency to use negative ground here in the USA for obvious reasons.
    Ask any questions before buying this radio. I will issue a refund if it is DOA. As you can see in the pictures the red light shows transmitter is transmitting and the radio works very well.
