Engine Vision monitors only work with marine engines with a computer in the following series.
- 3176B
- 3196, serial # 2XR prefix
- 3406E, serial # 9WR prefix
- 3408C
- 3412C
- 3412E
If the engine (s) are not on this list, it will not be possible to operate the Engine Vision.
If the engine is on the list, check the compatibility between the Engine Vision "software" and the computer software on the engine.
- Connect to the engine computer, take the software version and serial # of the engine
- Connect to the Engine Vision, take the software version
- Check the compatibility of the two software
If the software versions are not compatible, it is possible by connecting to the Engine Vision to change the version to make the whole compatible.
