Description
Wonderful medal showing David Lloyd George (1863-1945), who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1916 to 1922. He lead the British delegation at the Paris Peace Conference in 1919. On the reverse a fine depiction of Britannia as Minerva.I am unsure with regards to the material of the medal, but I think it is tin.
Interesting for all collectors of war or military memorabilia.

I am currently reorganizing my collection of Art Nouveau and Art Deco medals and plaquettes, mainly from France. Over the next weeks, I will regularly put on sale medals of prominent medal artists.
If you are interested in medals of that period, I would like to recommend the book 'French medallic art 1870-1940', which I published in 2010.
