Breyer Stablemate Unicorn Magnolia & Unicorn Foal Custom Painted as Galaxy Unicorns
New with flaws.  This pretty pair started out as the Paint Your Own Unicorns, destined for the Breyerfest Workshop to paint a Galaxy Unicorn with eye shadows/acrylic. New technique for me, I'm used to acrylics. Breyer logo was NOT removed.  They were base coated in black acrylic, then blue eyeshadow layered down in several layers.  Bronze mane & tail on the mare in eyeshadow, foal has acrylic black mane/tail. Legs were done in several layers of eyeshadow/pastels (multi-shaded with lighter areas and darker areas-some areas didn't take the color as well as I hoped, so it's a bit uneven).  Hooves are black, horns are combo of eyeshadow/acrylic.  Mare has "star bursts" on her shoulders & rump and glitter in her coat (gives her a texture as you can feel the glitter).  Foal has tiny grey "stars" all over. Several layers of matte finish to protect their colors/finish.  Both have tri-color eyes.
Flaws make them unsuitable for live showing but may do okay in photo showing (I don't show, so can't say for sure), a pretty shelf piece or to play with (fairly sturdy with the several layers of matte finish).
