    Description

    On offer is a Regnal Year 13 (66-67 AD) Roman Egypt (Alexandria) BI (silver billon) Tetradrachm coin of the Emperor Nero.
    This coin is graded VF (Very Fine) by NGC with a Strike rating of 4/5 and a Surface rating of 2/5. There is a pair of scratches on the reverse side of the coin forming an "x" across the face of Tiberius. The NGC holder notes "light smoothing". It is approximately 22mm in diameter.
    Obverse: Nero, in profile, radiate crowned, head left, and wearing the aegis. Inscription (Greek): NERO KLAV K-AIS SEB GER.
    Reverse: Tiberius, laureate, in profile, head right. Inscription (Greek): TIBERIOS-KAISAR.
