JOHN PAUL JONES "WE HAVE NOT YET BEGUN TO FIGHT" and THE FIRST FLAG OF FREEDOM ONBOARD THE ALFRED 1775 , STERLING SIVLER MEDAL  is: approximately 39 mm in diameter, weighs approximately 27 grams, has a reeded edge and is serial numbered 2009. It has maintained a very nice bright mirror and a frosted finish. Struck for the National Commemorative Society (NCS) in 1967 by the Franklin Mint. Please see picture of reverse, showing the flag.
