2 VTG F. S. Louie Berkeley Chinese Restaurant Handled Tea Cups Dragon Peacock

This listing is for a pair of vintage F. S. Louie Berkeley Chinese restaurant ware flared hand painted tea/coffee cups with handles.  These have an unusual shape as they flare out around the base, see last photo.  The design consists of a dragon, peacock, and the Chinese Greek key design around the outer rim. Both are in EXCELLENT condition, no chips, cracks, nicks, or flea bites. The unglazed rim on the base does show a little wear consistent with age.  One has some stray yellow glaze on the underside edge of the cup right below the peacocks feet and doesn't show when upright. Each measures 2 1/4" tall, the top is 3 1/4" in diameter, and the base is 2 1/8" in diameter. Very thick and heavy which helps keep hot beverages hot.
