    Description

    Seldom seen 1974 Frank Eliscu' 2-Part "Inspiration" Medal, One Half is Silver and One Half is Bronze.  The edge shows that only 1500 were struck in this manner, but I suspect that they are scarcer than that, because they may not have sold well judging by the infrequent appearance of the medal on Ebay.  Silver and Bronze, 50 mm in diameter, and in uncirculated condition. The edge is stamped  "SB 260 / 1500, different from the edge stamps on each of the similar Silver and Bronze medals. The SB designation means to me that the medal is silver and bronze halves.  The silver ones are stamped SS before the edge number, and the Bronze are stamped BB before the edge number.  The original box is included, but no paperwork.
