    Description

Up for auction is a beautiful 1969 Triumph Bonneville.
I acquired the motorcycle as a rolling chassis in early 2000 and had most of the black parts, including the frame, powder coated. I then combined it with a 1971 Triumph 650 Tiger engine that has been rebuilt and upgraded with a 750 kit and Sudco Single Mikuni carburetor kit.
Other upgrades include electronic ignition, electronic voltage regulator, high output gear oil pump, 5-speed transmission, 20-tooth front sprocket with O-ring chain and a Barnett clutch. I recently replaced the rubber parts including fork gaiters, shift rubber and kickstart rubber. The battery is new. The bike is equipped with a spin-on oil filter that takes up the space where the center stand goes, so it has the jiffy stand only.
This motorcycle has been in and out of storage since 2002 (three moves during that time), so the tires have good tread, but are rather old and should be replaced before any long trips. It also has the slight oil leak that is usual for vintage British bikes.
It has a clean Nevada title that says, “Exempt” on the odometer since the vehicle is over 20 years old. It is currently registered in Nevada.
This motorcycle is fun to ride and always receives great compliments on its appearance even though the tank paint hasn’t been done professionally.
If the winner of this auction desires that the bike be shipped, then I will be willing to work with the shipper to prepare it. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I require a 0 PayPal deposit at the end of the auction and the remaining funds either cash in hand at pick up or a bank-to-bank transfer before the motorcycle is released to the shipper. The Triumph is also being listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if my asking price of 95 is accepted. Bid accordingly. Good luck with the bidding.
