On the obverse and the native american in the canoe on the reverse .
The Obverse has the Charter Oak with the dates 1635 to the left and 1935 to the right . The inscriptions Connecticut Tercentenary above and Charter Oak below .
On the reverse there is a Native American in a canoe and an airplane flying above the towers in the background  . The inscription reads Tercentenary Souvenir .
