    Description
    This is a very nice, little 19-millimeter,
    "So-Called Dime"
    or Medalette from the
    "Hudson-Fulton Celebration"
    that was held in New York City and in various other places along the Hudson River as far up as Troy, in 1909.
    The
    "Celebration"
    was a dual event. It was held to mark the third century since the discovery of the
    "Hudson"
    River and New York by Hendrik or Henry
    "Hudson"
    in the
    "Half Moon"
    in 1609.
    It was also to honor the 102nd anniversary of Robert
    "Fulton's"
    first successful
    "Steamboat"
    which carried passengers on the Hudson River in 1807.

    The So-Called Dime or Medal:
    Holed for use as a fob I believe. It looks like it was used as such for a short time as it shows some wear and has some marks. Fully original, it has never been cleaned. As grading is subjective, please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
