This Bronze medal is in much, much better XF+ condition than these poor scans would indicate
and is NOT dark.
A bronze 1898-1899 from the People of California,
to a Soldier for Service in the Spanish American War
medal.
The Bronze medal shows California offering help to a soldier with his rifle, the California Bear, both the California and United States flags, a shield, etc.
The medal is in nice XF condition with minimal wear.
The medal is 1 7/16 inches across in size.
