France, 1880 " MINERVE -  AU MERITE - ALLIANCE FRANCAISE ",
art medal, 68mm 150grs approx, in  silver, by Jules-Clément Chaplain (Rome Prize Winner), awarded in 1895 on reverse, a specimen in very fine condition as scanned, rim nicks, edge marked "argent" with horn (Paris mint).
