    Description

    This is not an original medal, but rather a replica that was produced from an original that was awarded and engraved. I am unsure of the metallic content. The original medals were engraved by Furst of the US Mint and we’re struck at the US Mint in Philadelphia. They are listed in R. W. Julian’s reference as Julian AM-1. This is an affordable example if you are unable to acquire a gold specimen.
