    Description

We are offering a very beautiful medal from Belgium, the 1846 Belgian Medal Issued for the St. Bavon of Ghent Church, Engraved by Jacques and Leopold Wiener.     This is a Gorgeous Medal, one of the nicest of the Wiener medals that I have ever offered.   The medal is listed as a Hoy 17/ Reinecke 9/ M18.   The medal is 50.23 mm in diameter and is made of bronze (with a total weight of 1.81 ounces or 51.4 grams).    The medal has very beautiful mahogany brown color with full luster and well engraved very high relief surfaces.   The 3D effect of the reverse of this medal is very strong, one of my favorites.     It would be a very nice addition to your collection.
