12-piece Chinese fine porcelain zodiac animal tea or sake cup set in original covered box. Mini footed cups are hand painted inside and out with a matching bright floral pattern (similar to Chinese Millefleurs) and each one has a different adorable zodiac animal sign in the base of the bowl. The bottom of each is marked with a 4-character red Chinese mark for Jingdezhen Zhi, meaning made in Jingdezhen, a city in Jiangxi province that is famous for porcelain. Late 20th century.
A fun novelty set for home entertaining, or welcoming in the Chinese New Year!
SIZE: 1 7/8" wide x 1" tall
CONDITION: Good - minor chips and cracks on a couple of cups, but are still useable. Box is clean and unbroken.
